A Season to Remember: Royal United FC Summer 2025 Competitive Training Academy

Updated: Sep 30

This summer, Royal United FC’s Competitive Training Academy raised the standard yet again. Over 11 weeks of elite training, our 25 dedicated players put in the work—logging 33 high-intensity sessions and competing in 6 tournaments across the region.

The results? Nothing short of spectacular.

  • 5 tournament championships secured

  • 1 Regional 3v3 Championship title

  • 1 National Championship crown in the Girls U13 flight 2 3v3 Division (Orlando, FL)

  • 1 National Finalist in the Girls U14 flight 1 3v3 Division (Orlando, FL)

But beyond the trophies, the academy was about something greater—commitment, growth, and the community built along the way.

“These players showed up, day after day, willing to grind, willing to push themselves, and willing to compete,” said Coach Nick Serenati. “The progress was unbelievable—not just technically and tactically, but in the way they carried themselves as athletes and teammates. That’s the true victory.”

From sunrise training sessions to the biggest national stages, our players proved that hard work pays off. Every small-sided drill, every rep, and every match was a step toward something greater—a mindset that Royal United FC instills in every athlete who wears the crest.

Building the Future

The Competitive Training Academy is more than just summer soccer—it’s a launchpad for future leaders on and off the field. Players left this summer sharper, fitter, and more confident than ever. More importantly, they left as a family, united by the shared pursuit of excellence.

“What impressed me most was their resilience,” Coach Serenati added. “They didn’t just train for themselves—they trained for each other. That culture of accountability and support is why this academy continues to grow and why our players succeed at the highest levels.”

Looking Ahead: Summer 2026

Royal United FC is already gearing up for Summer 2026, and the demand is rising. If you’re a player who wants to train like a champion, compete against the best, and join a community that feels like family, the Competitive Training Academy is where you belong.

Enrollment for Summer 2026 opens soon. Spaces will be limited, and this is your chance to be part of something extraordinary.
