Coach Nicholas Serenati is the visionary founder of Royal United FC, where competitive excellence meets character-driven development. With a Ph.D. in interdisciplinary studies and over a decade of experience as a professor and program leader in higher education, Coach Serenati brings an unmatched blend of academic insight and athletic leadership to the pitch.

A former Division I soccer player at Mount St. Mary’s University, Coach Serenati holds a USSF C License and leads with a philosophy rooted in whole-player development — focusing not only on technical skill and tactical intelligence, but also on leadership, accountability, creativity, and community. Under his guidance, RUFC has grown into a premiere independent academy program known for its rigorous training environment, student-athlete focus, and results both on and off the field.

Beyond the game, Coach Serenati is an entrepreneur and digital media expert, dedicated to building innovative tools, sustainable products, and performance platforms that elevate the player and the club alike.

Whether coaching from the sidelines, crafting player development plans, or guiding families through the competitive soccer journey, Coach Serenati remains committed to one mission: building better players, and even better people.
