Founded in 2021, Royal United FC was built with one vision: to transform the modern soccer player through elite, high-impact training. More than an academy, RUFC is a performance hub where athletes sharpen their game through specialized clinics in speed & agility, 1v1 domination, finishing mastery, technical development, and position-specific training.

Our competitive edge extends beyond training grounds—Royal United FC is the 2025 National Champion in 3v3 Soccer and a perennial powerhouse in small-sided competition. Consistently ranked among the top 10 programs in the nation for 3v3 and 5v5, and holding a top-2 ranking in Florida, RUFC has established itself as a leader in producing players who excel in both individual brilliance and collective play.

Coach Nicholas Serenati is the founder and driving force behind Royal United Football Club (RUFC), an elite youth soccer academy dedicated to long-term player development, competitive excellence, and character formation.
A former NCAA Division I soccer player at Mount St. Mary’s University, Coach Serenati holds a USSF C License and multiple sports performance and strength & conditioning certifications, bringing a rare blend of technical expertise, tactical vision, and applied sports science to the academy environment.
With a Ph.D. in Interdisciplinary Studies and more than a decade of experience as a professor and program leader in higher education, Coach Serenati uniquely bridges the worlds of academics and athletics. His coaching philosophy emphasizes whole-player development — cultivating not only technical mastery and tactical intelligence (soccer IQ), but also leadership, accountability, creativity, and mental resilience.
Under his leadership, Royal United FC has evolved into a premier independent soccer academy recognized for its rigorous training environment, hybrid European development model, and evidence-based coaching methodology. RUFC is known for its commitment to technical training, tactical development, speed of play, strength and conditioning, and individualized player pathways designed to prepare student-athletes for high-performance environments at the next level.
